Answer #1

Well there is an age requirement so you would want to look into that I am not sure if it is different for each state or not…you also have to pass another test before even taking the GED

Answer #2

There is no age requirement. My mom dropped out 30 years ago, had 3 kids, single mom etc etc. Now here she is 30 years later, getting ged, attending a local university for anthropology and fully plans to apply to the American University in Cairo, Eqypt for a PHD in Archeology and trust me, she will finish. She’s smart, no longer held down by kids etc etc. My aunt at 43 did the same thing 5 years ago. If these two women can do it, there is no reason you can’t. They had to relearn everything after 30 years. You have youth to your advantage. I’d say get to it missy and don’t give up!!

Answer #3

Anyone can get a G.E.D.

Contact your local testing center and request an information packet. You can find a state-by-state listing of phone numbers and email addresses for GED administrators on the official GED website at http://www.gedtest.org. The packet you receive will contain more detailed information about the structure of the tests, as well as the way in which scores are determined and the minimum scores you need in order to pass. This will help give you a better idea of what to expect on test day.
