Was I really the side girl?

Hey I just have a question. My ex that recently broke up wit me claimed he still loved me and wanted me about a month ago…I hadn’t really talked to him or whatever because I’ve been busy and just didn’t want to talk to him.When we were together he used to come see me at school, I’m away at school 2 hours from home, buy me things and when I was at home I was always at his house, I met his family and we went out to eat, talked on the phone together and everything else. So we broke up, we don’t get along and he doesn’t want to be friends with me,I dunno why he doesn’t because we were friends before but I feel like its because I hurt him and he still has feelings for me. So I recently asked him how he felt about me and he said that he don’t care about me, that he has a girlfriend and that he was just with me to be with me, but I feel like if I was one of his side girls then all that effort he made wit me when we were together wouldn’tve happened.What do yall think?Was I the side girl or is he playing mind games.

No, from what he did when you were together shows he really cared about you, but now he is like ‘themommyof3’ said is hiding how hurt he is. He’s moved on now you should too.

it sounds like he really did care for you so much that he has to say that he dosent to keep from thinking about the past and wanting to be with you again. when men get hurt they do everything they can to hide it and shield themselves from it…sometimes they seem to do a better job than us females and they dont even know it
