I completely agree with colleen. I have never personally caught a sexual symbol in a Disney movie. I’m willing to bet that most of those symbols that were “caught” were done so by slowing the movie down or studying frame by frame. I’d be willing to bet that most of the time people were purposely searching for something, and were determined to find it.

Parents were ready to blow a gasket when Sesame Street did an innocent parody of “True Blood” called “True Mud”. There was no suggestive innuendo, or coarse content at all! I remember when teletubbies was really popular and parents were concerned about the message the show was trying to send due to the appearance of a specific character. The controversy was because one of them was purple with a triangle on its head. If Walt Disney movies are evil, then so is Pokemon, Sponge Bob, Sesame Street, Pee wee Herman, and pretty much any children’s show for any obscure reasond.

Put it this way - I might bet $20 I can make anything - anything at all - seem evil, just by twisting facts, adding lots of conspiracy theory, and making wild interpretations. It is questionable on whether or not there are sexual innuendos/subliminal messages in Disney movies, but if you google it, some of it really does seem intentional. I’m not sure if that makes it “evil”.

I think it’s pretty obvious. And I’m not one of those people who are like obsessed with the hidden sex things, because a lot of it I think is bs, but this one stuck out to me. They actually fired the artist who apologized and they had to make a new cover for it.

Fair enough, but they did fire the artist didn’t they ;) which suggests that it was the artist himself who was sick, not the executives or the people who watch the movies.

You could also argue that the Taj Mahal looks like a giant boob…..You can read all about that example on snopes. According to them, the artist did not even work for Disney, and the phallus went unnoticed for about a year. I’m pretty sure if it were that obvious, it would not have taken so long to cause an uproar. To be honest, I didn’t notice this until I read of this incident a few years back. I highly doubt a small child would take notice.
