I suggest you go get that checked out. Insurance or not, you shouldn’t put your life at risk.

That is a classic description of sleep apnea. A doctor can’t do anything about it except send you to a sleep study, where you stay the night in a hospital and they moniter you. My husband has it too. Our doctor told us that it is caused by his recent weight gain. You won’t die from this, unless you take heavy seditives. This is your body “forgetting” to breath, so your brain wakes you up and makes you take a breath. You will only die if you can’t wake up. With natural sleep, the worst part of it is not getting a good night’s rest. There are two things you can do to help:

  1. Use an oxygen mask when you sleep.
  2. Don’t sleep on your back.

Go get some insurance buddy!

Answer #3

Call your doctor! You need to find out what’s going on. With sleep apnea, you stop breathing. The left arm thing is scary, since it is a known sign of a heart attack. Have you been under a lot of stress lately? Do you snore? If you snore and are overweight, losing even a modest amount of weight can help. Still, call the doctor and get some peace of mind. All the best to you :)

you really need to see a doctor before its 2 late.. good luck!

Answer #5

Chest pains? I would go get checked out regardless if you have insurance or not. Numbness of the arm and tingling is a sign of a heart attack/stroke or something like that. You could have blockages or it may just be anxiety itself. Go to the ER and get checked asap. Better to be safe than sorry. ;)
