voice cracks sometimes

everyone that has heard me sing says I sound like amy lee from evanescence and I really look up to her. I always wish to sound as great as her. but my voice still cracks in some places during other songs that are not evanescence…

what does that mean and how do I keep my voice from cracking?

Hi,

The best way is to sing from the diaphragm. Emote strong from there, if you sing from your throat it will crack. Also take care of your voice with tea and honey.
