Going to visit my gf?

Okay my gf lives out of state and I really want to go see her. We met online and have been dating for 5 months and I have really fallen for her. I love her so much. I want to go visit her when I can get some money but unfortunately I still live at home and my parents will b*tch me out about it. I am almost 29 and have a disability which is the main reason I am still living at home. My parents don’t know that I am bi and have a gf and I can’t tell them. They are religious and my dad has made homosexual comments before so it’s hard. When I was with my ex I told them we were just friends and they believed me and finally let me see her. So I guess my question is, what do I do? I want to visit her but they will strongly object and try and force me to stay here. How do I get around it. I am almost 29 and should be able to make this decision on my own right? So does anyone have any ideas or suggestions for me? Please help. Thanks.

have you told anyone in your family? maybe start by telling someone in your family your close to and have them help you come out to your parents that might make you feel better… but ik what you mean ive been in a similar situation my dad tells me he would disown me if i had a black bf which i did but never told him and i ended it cuz idk how i could tell my dad and ik he wouldent aprove… like family to me is more important,… but think of it this way its your lifee not theres like do what ever makes you happy cause in the long run your the one that has to do with it not them… and i know family means alot but dont try to hide who you are just to make someone else happy like family should love you no matter what…. and maybe tell them your going out of state to visit a friend.. but like soon or later your gonna have to come out to them if things get serious with you and your gf..
