Vinager and coins mix

If you put an old dirty coin into a glass of vinager will it come out squeaky clean or halfway dissolved

um I’ve heard that will work but I guess it takes time for it I had a penny from 1941 and I left it in my pants threw in the washer machine and it came out brand new and that should work

if you put salt in it it will get cleaner. it wont dissolve.
