What are your views concerning euthanasia regarding humans?

It’s also referred to as assisted suicide. It is illegal in a lot of places, including most of the US.

Do you think people who are terminally ill should be able to choose whether they want to suffer and wait to die, or end their pain…and be put to rest?

Answer #1

Generally, I think no. I know a lot of people wont agree with me, but I just dont think its up to us to choose when we die. I understand thats no everyones perspective though. I do however think its fine for a person to make a decision to switch of machines keeping them alive - even to give them something to make it easier for them. Without the machines, they would die anyway. I also think it would be ok for terminal patients who are on morphine for pain, as in many cases, the morphine actually ends up killing them in the end anyway, so I dont see what difference it makes speeding up that process bit if that is what the person wants.

Answer #2

of course I wouldnt ever judge anyone for choosing this option, or having a different opinion on the matter. It would be a horrible situation to be in, both for the person and for their family who has to watch them suffer

Answer #3

I believe in right to die, every person should be free to make that decision (whether they are terminally ill or not). So I definitely think that people who are terminally ill should have that right.
