Vehicle Impound Laws

My Pastor got his vehicle impounded for driving without a liscence, I was told the vehicle has to stay for 30 days. My question is, Is there anything I/we can do to get the vehicle released to us without having to wait 30 days?

Nope.

When it’s impounded on a charge, it’s legally binding.

EDIT: Sorry, I shouldn’t say there’s NO way…there are a few technicalities, I just didn’t think they were applicable in this case:

-The driver could prove without a reasonable doubt that he didn’t know his license was suspended -Impoundment somehow poses a physical threat to someone -Impoundment means physical hardship for someone other than the driver
