When will we be able to vacation for a week on the moon?

I remember when one of the co-founders of Google took a leisure trip to the upper atmosphere to experience zero gravity….but, it still seems like most of the science fiction I’ve seen on TV or movies (total recall?) isn’t there yet. Any predictions on when I can book a lunar vacation?

LOL i think they are in the proccess of making these building structures in the moon or just on plain space…. i have heard rumors of extremely rich people actually going to space and staying there for a week… space stations do keep austronauts up there for some years or so with packed food and all necesities…. i bet with all our advancing technology in several years the average cruise ship now will be equivalent to ride or a stay in space

Answer #2

haha i dont know if that would ever happen because of the money it would take, but if you are going to be around for like mayb 100 or so more years then id say you can book a vacation to the moon haha

I would like to make it back to Germany again. seems so far away, but not 248,000 miles.

Hey, guess what, you won’t, but your grandchildren will. It is more likely they will vacation on Mars because it is more earthlike than the moon is. Who knows? 500 years ago the fastest way to travel was by horseback. Wait…. why, I just thought I saw Robin Hood piloting a UFO!

Answer #5

lol, idk, but ya when we will start communicating through satellite phones ….

Answer #6

The trip to the moon will happen but not in your life time or mine. I think also, the rich would be the only ones to be able to afford to pay for a seat to reach the moon. Wouldn’t it be awesome to see a fat, filthy rich woman sitting on the moon, gives a whole new meaning to the catch phrase “a cow sitting on the moon.”

richard branson is doing this but 1 ticket costs around £120,000 which is around $200,000.

we might be lucky if he gets the ticket prices down too half of that so we will never be able to afford it anyway.

id say that even after 100 years that teh cost of petrol or what ever a spachship uses will be too expensive for anyone to afford. a trip to the moon for a week or so would be near the £750,000 i mean if 6 mins costs £120,000 just to be dropped.

at least 500 years, give or take a few untill people can afford it and teh moon and been fully tested so we can live on it ok.
