Answer #1

From what I understand theyare just fake nails, but r better on ur regular nails as opposed to acrylics

Answer #2

They are somewhat like fake nails, but the nail is applied to your natural nails to make them stronger ,and look longer and smoother … the “UV” part is because they use UV lighting to set the nails.

Answer #3

UV gel nails are the breakthrough system for nail techs & clients alike. Nail techs once had to spend 2 hours to do a full set of nails for clients(meaning they had to prep the nails then put tips on then prep some more then use acrylics & monomers, kind of like the system where dentists use that smelly stuff when doing a fill in your tooth!) which took too much time & also caused too much of a hassle. With UV Gels, they could do less work spend less time on prepping, look more natural, cure them in a UV light & could be put on anything, from short bitten nails using forms to build a nail tip or by attaching an extension to the nail bed then applying a thin coat of UV gel to smooth out the surface for a more natural sheik look! Either way they are thinner, safer & take less time to do…so both the nail tech & client have an easier time. No awkward smells, less prep time & all are happy.
