How to unlock my computer if I forgot the password?

how do I unlock my computer if I forgot my login pass word and it wont let any in safe mode

Yes,I did go to that cltr,alt,delete and went to login,but would not work in administator…I directly went to system retore after logged in with my name or useracount…in safemode…restored my computor before date that had problem…then I was able to change my password and use my other apps…thank God…no money spent. Your answer helped me in the way that I was able to go to myn restore settings…and it worked!!! thanks

Depends on what you mean by unlock. Try turning it off and restarting - then change the user password before the screen saver kicks in.

1. The guy above has been doing IT for a long time. You might assume that any experience with NT4 was involved with deploying and running it when it was the new kid on the block.

2. Sometimes you can’t upgrade - an application might be written that only works in a given OS. Time marches on but funds are lacking to upgrade, yet the system is still required.

That’s great unless you have data on the system that you really need.

To unlock the computer you can consider if you have admin password or reset disk. If you don’t have and want to a quick and safe way I will recommend you to use the third-party reset tool, like reset software Anmosoft.
