Is there a type of STD that causes a sort of "rug burn" down there?

I think the only STD that comes close to that is Syphilis, but without any other symptoms, I would have to say that is not the issue. However, you can develop a similar rash if you have an allergy to a type of condom, or even just from friction during intercourse.

Sounds like Thrush to me……But going to the docs is the best idea coz if its not that its something else :)

i dont think its thrush i was looking some stuff up last nite and i think i have tss.. i just dont kno how to tell my mom that tho :/

Any other symptoms? Because a rash, on its own, does not signify TSS. Not to mention, TSS rash covers almost the entire body - it doesn’t stay confined to one area.

No there is not.. It could be caused from an unknown UTI or possible not wipeing good after using the bathroom. Try washing good with an anit-bacterial soap and changing your panties twice a day. Just in case it is a UTI start flushing your system with lots of water and cranberry juice. If it don’t get better see your physician.

i went to the doctor today and she said im allergic to a certain type of tampons that was the problem! thank goodness!!!
