How do you manage your kids TV time?

what is the ideal or “not disadvantageous” tv time for children during school days if the classes ends at 5pm? or is it better if there should be no tv time during school days? i just wanna know how other people regulate their children’s tv time.

After homework and dinner, fine with a no-stay-up-late time….and I use the Parental filter on programs that aren’t acceptable.

This is something our family has been struggling with in the past years. I find once they arrive home from school it’s homework first, supper, 1/2 hour computer time then 1 hour of tv during a school night. I believe in having the kids outside doing something in the summer as oppose to having them on the couch watching tv.
