I am sure I have a male turtle however I would like to get a companion to keep it company..

I would find a frog to keep your turtle company, it will eat the same food and live in the same moist habitat as your turtle, and a frog will also be able to chirp (tree frog).
getting a pet of a different species should cut down on any potential rivalries that 2 turtles may develop.
with your weird questions I think your turtle would be happy to have you as his or her companion!!!
