Trying not to be trashy

I’ve been having sex with my ex, we’ve said we both have feelings for each other but we want to take it slow. Well, I have finally decided I don’t want to mess around until im in a relationship so I can have more self respect. I want to tell him this, but I DO NOT want to pressure him into a relationship. What do I do?

Telling him that shouldnt really register that you are pressuring him into one. If he truly has feelings for you and you all are taking things slow to try to mend things between you two, then he should understand. I dont think that by still engaging in such activities is taking it slow, but thats just my opinion I am not judging. Sex can tend to complicate things. At the end of the day this is your decision, with out the sex aspect this can give you all a chance to focus on rebuilding your relationship and to better know one another. And if it is not all about the sex to him and you all are committed to making it work then he should understand that and admire you for making that decision. Communication is key to a working relationship dont be afraid to express how you feel to him.
