how did you know the truth about Santa?

I once wished for a specific toy when i was 5, i never did get the toy… ever since then i’d make it my business to find the places where the gifts were hidden every year :D

I found out on a day out with my mate Kirsty when her big brother shattered our beliefs and got himself a grounding hahaha :L

santa claus and that whole north pole story was created by newspaper journalist, different ppl added on to the whole idea (elves, decorated trees, toy factory etc.) . santa claus or satan claus as i like to call him is just a sign of capitalistic holiday BS!

My mother told me. lol.

I was around 5 or 6 and I wanted to sleep with my mum & dad in their bed down in the basement. So I sat on the top stair saw my mum walking with wrapping paper in her hands. She yelled at me to go upstairs, of course me being the dtubborn child that I am…I argued back but eventually gave in, headed off to bed and from then on…I stopped believing but wished he was real.

My parents never lied to me so I always knew that it was just a story :P

well that was a harsh way of finding out…

I really wanted this doll for Christmas when I was around 6. So my parents and i go christmas shopping and my mom buys the EXACT doll i wanted. She said it was for someone else, but it was obvious it was for me. thats how i found out.
