Is it true that getting a nipple piercing results in the inability to breast feed?

Answer #1

No, thats a myth. You will however have to remove the piercing when you breastfeed or you will need to wear a product called “nipple shields” while breastfeeding since the milk will also be coming out of the piercing holes and the shield protects the baby from your actual piercing.

Answer #2
