think to yourself how much do u like your crush………if you like him alot then other peoples opinions shouldnt matter. the only thing that matters is that he likes you and you like him.

another thing you can try is sitting down with your friends and asking them why they dont like your crush.

hunni just talk to them about it and tells them that its really upsetting you and if they still dont respect him then they are obviously not your true friends! and you desperately need to find some new ones! but i know this can be hard!
