What are the trigger points of Fibromyalgia?

I’ve had chronic back pain since 2009, which led to narcotic dependence. Finally checked myself into rehab and got clean, moved to a warmer climate and my back is better most of the time–but now my legs constantly ache. My mother has Fibromayalsia and has suffered for 30 years. What are the trigger points to find out at home if I do have it? Self-assessments? Symptoms? Treatments? Do any of you have it, and can point me in the right direction of what TYPE of doctor to see? Thanks for all help!

Tenderness is generally located in the following areas: knees back of the neck and extending to the shoulders shoulder blades front part of the collarbone elbows upper ribs (front) hips (back)

Unfortunately, there’s no specific test to diagnose Fibromyalgia - it is determined by process of elimination. The only treatment available deals with the symptoms as opposed to a cure, of which there is none. You’ll likely want to be seen by a rheumatologist - talk to your doctor about setting up a referral.
