Can I take my tragus piercing out?

ok. I got my tragus pierced abt. 4 months ago. and now im doing a sport where I cant have it in. so what im asking is. if its only 4 months, if I take the piercing out for abt 24 hrs. will it close? (enough for me not to be able to put the earring in) how do I take out a ring tragus piercing that closes with the ball, and not break it so I can put it back in later, and how do I put it back in? anddd. alsooo. theres these plastic clear plugs for where earrings should go when you cant have earrings in. are there any of these that will fit in my tragus?

I don’t think it will close in 24 hours. so just try it and if it doesnt work then don’t worry about it they aren’t that atractive anyways.

No, it won’t close if you take the piercing out for a short period (for sports, etc) just make sure that as soon as you can, you put it back otherwise, it’ll be painful when you do get the piercing back in.

As far as how to take it out, just be careful, use a mirror, and if it’s the ball kind, you can unscrew the ball then remove the piercing.

Re; the clear plugs, those, also aren’t appropriate for sports, so if it’s something like that, you can’t use those…it needs to be empty. If it’s for another reason, talk to your local tattoo / piercing shop to see if they have plugs that will fit.
