Tragus piercing advice

I’m getting my tragus pierced in a few weeks. I’m kinda bad with pain but from what I’ve heard this is a really painful piercing? I want to know how to take really good care of it and what to do to prevent infections. Thank you!!!

well after getting it pierced you will usually recieve a sheet of paper that has instructions on how to take care of it and if you follow that you should be golden =)

to take care of any piercing for one DO NOT touch it. there are so many germs on your hands that can cause infections. clean it as advised by the piercer (usually 2-3 times a day). they should give you some kind of product to clean it with. and I would also suggest washing your hands before cleaning it. as long as you leave it alone so it heals and clean it then you should be good to go.

I have it ! It is the cutest ear piercing ever :) it hurt a bit but nothing really bad, mine got infected even with me cleaning it! My problem was the earing wasnt long enough so I couldnt clean it properly, just make sure you have a fairly, especially for when you first get it done because your ear is most likely going to swell, however you can change the ear 6 weeks after the piercing ( I recommend waiting longer especially if you get an infection)
