Tragus Piercing?

So im planning on getting my tragus pierced soon…so I need some advice! I know people who have got it done with a stud and some people that have got it done with a ring. personally I think the stud is cuter, but which one will heal better? Any other advice you can give me would be great!!!

Thanks!!xoxoxo

first dont get it done with a gun, or at a salon or mall those people arnt profesionals, there not qualifyed they have no training and no idea what there doing they practice on fruit and the gun is full of germs from other peoples blood they dont sterilize it, they just wipe it clean …now to answer your aquestions first get it done because you want it not to be cool or because everyone else does you can choose the jewelrey you want either…the ring or a labret (stud) with either a ball oo spike you can get a ball with a gem in it but they will cost a bit extra healing time depends it should heal usually within a few weeks to a month or two the jewelrey probably wont affect the healing time much if you take care of it

I had mine dun in january I loved it while it lasted I had a ring it was healing ok but everytime I put a shirt on it would snag on it the next time I get it dun I will try a barbell

  1. Depends on the kind of jewelry you want after it’s all healed - stud or ring? If Stud, use a barbell (slightly longer version of stud) now, if ring, use a curved barbell now.

  2. Generally, barbells are easier to heal, and easier to clean your piercing every day.

  3. It also depends on your ear. Ask your piercer which one will suit the shape of your ear.

  4. If you use headphones/earphones, studs won’t get in the way too much.

I got mine dun with a labret its flat on the back so it dosent irritate the back and is easy to clean and it scerws on at the front so you can take the ball off at the front to give it a gud clean. it looks like a stud which is cute and dosent get caught like a ring

to answer your question, if you can’t get it done at the mall with a gun you have to go to a tattoo shop that has a piercer. This is a person whose ONLY job is to pierce. This person has a great deal of experience and knowledge about piercing and will use a NEEDLE to pierce your tragus, not a gun. if they pull out a piercing gun…LEAVE! I got my tragus pierced at a tattoo shop who employed a registered nurse to do piercings, so it was exceptionally sterile and safe.
