What s the smallest gage for a tragus?

okay so I got my tragus dun about a year ago it didnt last long about a month and I also had a small bump form on the side and I went to the doc and he said it was just inflammed sadly a week later it came out so anyways…iwanna try getting it done again and I was wondering which is better the ring or barbell I had the ring and didnt like it that much..also whats the smallest gauge they can use..thanks guys..

I had mine done to and took it out I repierced it myslef and didnt hurt I had a rign in but it annoyed me just dangling bars look a lot better just get a 1.2mm bar I thinkt hats the smallest and it willheal to that size
