Tounge rings.

Im plannin on getting a tounge ring soon. but some girls I know said that your tounge swells up HELLA to the point where you cant eat or talk. does it really?

unless the peircer hits a nerve your your allergic to the jewelrey then it wont swell up that much it does swell up, everything does when you stab a needle through it but not that much usually ou just have a bit of trouble eating sold foods and saying a couple of letters but the swelling should go down in around days

It’s different with everyone. Mine swelled BAD. I could talk, but not clearly and I couldn’t eat ANY solids. Not even rice. I just ate tomato soup.. the swelling went down after a week or so, and after that, you don’t notice it in. I’ve had mine since I was 15.

It does, but the swelling and pain will leave after two days at the most. Like Starstruck said, what you’ve been told is a slight exaggeration.
