how tough are modelling agencies on scars?

Depends how noticable they are. Some will deal with it, others wont .

It depends on how large the scar is and also what modeling it is. If it’s lifestyle modeling, I heard they’re less strict, but i heard if it’s fashion modeling then the agency may tend to be more picky. But like Brittany said, they could use make-up such as camouflage cosmetics to conceal the scar.

ALSOOOOO: theres alot of medicines out there right now which will help the scar go away & become barely noticeable, like Mederma, i went on their website and they have a section for “success stories’ and i must say they are quite incredible, if they can help scars that big I’m sure they can help yours :)

sometimes they like things like that so you have your own individual look, kinda stand out from everyone else.. e.g beauty spots (moles). so you might be okay however, on the other hand they may be quite strict. go for it and check it out! Remember, if one agency says no keep going, the best supermodels have got turned down before. don’t let it make your confidence drop! Go for it!!! Let me know how it goes :) x

well, if its a big scar id say go an try to do some type of lazer for it, i know they have that, but it may cost a bit. just look into getting it lightened or sumthing :]
