Too much expense for hairdresser

My hair is black/brown and for the past 2 years I’ve been going to a hairdresser to bleach it blond, thinking of it now,its seems I’ve spent too much money on it. I’ve tried dying my hair myself but it doesnt come the right colour (it comes red or brown).I want to buy my own bleach at the store, but I dont know which exactly,is it written bleach blond on it or what? Im no where! And how do you do it, with foil paper as the hairdresser does or you just apply it like that? Someone please help me,

Thanks in advance

your best bet is to go to a beauty supply store and get professional hair bleach - every hair will go through stages of lightening - brown, red, orange, yellow, then pale yellow - pale yellow is the furthest anyone can bleach their hair without destroying it - once you reach pale yellow you have to tone it white - there actually is no hair color for white as in hair white is the absence of color - you need to trick the eye into not seeing the yellow

I have a new group on here about bleaching to barbie blonde - anbd a website where I help people like you do their own hair for very little money - and its free - doesnt try to sell you anything

feel free to email me and I’ll give you the exact steps
