Too flirty?

One of my guy friends who I dated for a month at the beginning of the year is very flirtatious with me. he uses my name a lot, playfully teases me, calls me by pet names, and gets upset if I don’t say hi to him. he has told me things like that he wants to see this band with me even though he hates that kind of music. some of his guy friends have crushes on me but I told him I’m not interested in them. he has dated other girls since and I have given him advice on it. I feel like we are in the friend zone, but is it normal for a guy friend to be so flirty?

Maybe he is one of those guys that fool around a lot. That is full of life, that like to joke around, and flirts around with you because he only sees you as a friend but he is comfortable  with you so, no matter how he will flirit with you or joke around with you- he knows you won’t take it the wrong way. He’ll know you’ll understand him 110%

it depends on there personality, some people just do that because it’s what comes natural to them or in other words he really likes you and probably still wants to date you
