Why do my toes on the left side of the foot feel swollen and like they're about to break and fall off?

Answer #1

maybe you have an ingrown toenail or something ?? see a doctor … :)

Answer #2

What happened before? How fast did your foot change? Are the toes hot? Are they red?

Did you run into/ trip over something? Or did you wear shoes that were too small for you? Were you bitten by an insect or other monster? Are you allergic to something? Are you diabetic?

Can’t diagnose you with a crystal ball. Sorry. :-) If it looks harmless, cool the foot if that feels good. If it looks dangerous, go and see the doctor.

Answer #7

If you have been going out for prolonged periods in the sub-zero temperatures that you have been getting lately, you may have got a bit of frostbite - and that may need treatment as it can lead to gangrene. . If you have been doing heavy lifting, or similar exercise, you may have strained some of the small muscles, tendons or ligaments in that area. If so take it easy for a few days to let it recover. .

MAYBE you were bit by something and didnt know it(I was bit by a spider in my sleep and didnt notice untill I woke up with a throbbing welt), or you could have a splinter or infection of some sort.
