Why do my toes get all itchy and red in winter?

does lack of sunlight has anything to do with it?

Answer #1

Meaby it might be the change in tempetature, you might be allergic to it too, or meaby like you said, the lack of sunlight. It could also be that the dry weather of winter is causing it.

Answer #2

i dont know why but my feet becomes all black and red….and then it iches a lot and becomes sorta swollen up….it never happens in the summers….and nobody’s feet in my family gets like this…i dunno what to do. a little bit of sunlight does not even helps..

Answer #3

do you wear your socks for long periods of time making them go sweaty

Answer #4

mine do that too it’s really irritating. They also get very hot sometimes along with the itchy and redness. I’m not quite sure why it happens but if i cool them down it goes away, like if i tke off my shoes. Also i put lotion on them to stop the itching, it’s dry skin that causes the itch.

Answer #5

my skin is not dry….and yes, i do wear socks for longer period becoz its cold….i hav to put like oil on my toes so dat the iching goes away…but it comes back after some time….

Answer #6

i mean..my brothers and sisters live in the same lifestyle…but it only happens to me…is there a name to this allergy or whatever it is..?

Answer #7

i think its just tht your blood circulation isnt as good as others and that gets your toes all cold. They might have blisters and have and coldness can make your toes red :( id advise you to wear really warm boots and a some warm socks. Try some foot lotion too to try to sooth it :) hope you get better

Answer #8

if they are red with faint purple lines in a latice work pattern its just poor circulation from the cold.
