If I can offer some advice - a well-written metaphor can turn an average song into a masterpiece…play around with it a bit…you can portray the same message, but in a way that tugs at people’s heartstrings.

i like it, but doesnt have real power or meaning.

I think it’s pretty good! But I think you should frig around with it a bit. I’m new at song writing too, me,a few friends and my brother are starting a band so we write our own music and songs. But yeah I like it :)

lol i dont think there much diference between peotry and songwriting though is there? i dont know much about that sort of stuff. i wrote a song once that was actually decent, but i lost it :(
