I think it’s completely weird. I would say something to your mom and tell your dad that, that has made you uncomfortable.

Your thong shouldn’t be showing in the first place especially at home, but I understand sometimes it can be accidental. I don’t think your Dad snapped it to mean something sexual, it’d probably be more to mean “Keep your thong in your pants so I don’t have to see it on my daughter”.

Of course, if he does it again you should tell him that it’s inappropriate. If he still does it for a third time, then it could mean something more, but I wouldn’t worry about it at the moment.

Good chance as chilldude said, he was just saying he doesn’t want to see that, making you uncomfortable wasn’t meant most likely, more of his way of saying “Every time I see that hanging out, I’m gonna snap it.”

Dads don’t like confronting their daughters on this sort of thing, in most cases they will make a way to tell you subconsciously.

I would tell your mom and see what she says about it. Maybe she could talk to him and find out why he did it and tell him that it bothered you so he won’t do it again.

he might have been trying to tell you he doesn’t want to see it and to let you know it was showing. I doubt your dad meant anything sexual he was just playing around. If my mom snapped my boxers I wouldn’t think nothing of it.

Wow… lol I thought EVERYONE knew what a thong was… Anyway, your dad was probably just saying “I don’t wanna see that… put it away”, but I’d talk with my mom about it just to be safe so she knows what happened. And be sure it’s not hanging out anytime he’s around. If he keeps doing that or things like it, then it could be something more and you should keep filling your mom in on stuff like that.

I think he was letting you know that your thong was showing and to hide it. Take his unspoken advice and hide it. Your dad doesnt want to see you in a thong.

what the heck is a thong?

well it could be two things 1.he was just being childish and pulling like a prank on you, snapping it because he though it was funny and nothing else or he was telling you that he saw it and doesnt want to see it on his daughter around the house

or 2. it could have been a form of sexual harrassment, and he did it because it aroused him, he liked it, he wanted to touch your bum, ect

I dont know which one it was, I think you should talk to your mum about it if you dad usually does things like that…pull the chair from under you, loosen the salt shaker so you get it all on your food…you know stuff like that, then it was probably dont in a harmless joking kind of way if hes not the type orf person who does this then it was sexual harrasment and its a lot more seriouse and you should tell your mum about it either way
