Theres poop stuck to my bunnys fur!

I have a long haired rabbit And It was hot in my room, and he got diareah, and now its stuck to his fur. I’ve pulled off as much as I can,but Theres some hardended onto his fur. Im scared to rip it out, because everytime I try,he flinched and I think it hurts him. He wont let me lay him on his back,so I cant see what im doing very well. What can I do?!?

Answer #1

I have 4 bunnies and one of my bunies has that stuck, what you need to do is have one person hold him like a baby and you need to cut out the poop, or the fur it is stuck to. hope this helps, good luck

Answer #2

Yeah if you could possibly soak the fur in warm water then it should get soft enough for you to pull it out. Good luck :)

Answer #3

DO NOT GIVE HIM A BATH. my brother works at a pet store I just asked him and he said your not supposed to it causes some something fatal. but get a damp or wet cloth and try and rub it. then try and pick out as much as possible or get it wet and comb through it then pick.

lemme know how it goes.
