The sims 3: like it or not?

I have to say im disappointed with the sims 3. It wasnt that great, definitely not as cool as I expected. Its a little too detailed and hi-tech for me, especially since im so used to the sims 2. Let me know your opinions on the game, did you like it or is it way overrated?

ya the sims 3 is so much different than the sims 1. the sims 2 was a lot different, but it was basically the same plot and same controls. the sims 3 is too much like a completely different game, and I didnt really get it.

my boyfreind just bought it now and it downloading it I havent played it yet I’ve only ever played sims 1 and the first time I did was yesterday but I assume the new one will be really complicated

thesims3 is sooo great and much more like real life, the cotrols are much more advanced but easy, I love the fact you can visit other houses, and you can take them on the town

I dont have it yet and I just starting useing Sims 2 so that might be a good thing :D
