it really depends what your opinions are, personally I think that a girl who is very sporty, doesnt wear makeup, dresses plain and casual, and just hangs more with guys then girls is a tomboy. many people have different definitions because there isnt an actual definition. hope this helped (:

I am a tomboy and sometimes children or their parents mistake me for a guy. That is probably because I have short hair and dress more like a guy when I am hanging out after school in the local park playing sports with the guys. It doesn’t mean that I dress like a guy all the time but that I prefer to hang out with guys and know how to have fun. So I don’t act all grown up all the time. A good game of tag or grounders suits me just fine or playing Roll Playing Games, whatever. Knowing how to have fun has many different meaning for many different people. So what, some people would rather hang out and chat with their friends, I prefer to play paint ball type of games “Strategy games” and sometimes can be seen wearing a camouflage outfit to have the advantage in some “Paint ball” games. Everyone is an individual, has their own unique personality, way of acting, dressing etc. Each to his or her own.

All of this would be so much easier (even for me as a man) if we could just stick to those UN Human Rights the islamist OIC organization (led by the Saudis) is abt to erase in UN right now! In the 1948 HR declaration it’s clearly stated that your physical sex shouldn’t be a cultural or legal regulator for how to live. GID (gender identity disorder) is a hoax psychiatric DSM criterion that especially targets girls before they are grown up & can decide for themselves. It was introduced as a “pathology” at the same time as “homosexuality” was removed! I might be wrong but my girls/women informants make me believe that other girls/women are the worst in trying to put “tomboyism” in disrespect when it should be the most respected “fashion” a human female could possibly exhibit!

The way I always understood it is just the disposition someone has not the way they dress by itself. They don’t care about picking up worms and other things most girls consider gross. They talk and hang around other guys not so much with the girls. This doesn’t mean they are gay. Just that they unconsciously do things like guys do.

heehee!! ^_^ it’s hard to tell by the way I type, but I’m a tomboy!! I don’t wear any girl clothes at all!! it’s actually really strange and my friends (even my parents) hate me for it!! I’ve had people bring me girl clothes to wear at school!!! but I feel strange in girls clothing.. have you seen how tight it is?? even the loose clothing!!! it’s horrid! but my baggy boy shirts are so comfortable!!! but most tomboys love their hair up and short.. not all, I LOVE long hair and having it down… I just do.. but, I wonder if this is the reason for me liking such feminine guys… ??? I really do, but to be sure, yes, I’m straight :)
