where has it gone why can’t I find it? where has it ran away to? will it come back to me

where has the love gone why can’t I find it why can’t I see it why is the sound of it gone too?

my life is all changed around and my time has come to lose the frown “perk up” is all I hear everyday but ican’t seem to do it even when I make it through it and then I cry for you all day

every night when I try to sleep all I find is this muffled peep coming from the back of my mind telling me I need to find you and the love that true friends share here now and every where

I hope that you never leave me and make me beg and start pleading can you love me day by day I ask again here and there.
