The friend or the guy?

My friend has liked this guy for the longest time, he knows shs likes him, but bascially told her he didn’t feel the same way. Well today I hung out with him alone, and we really hit it off. He asked me out, and I said yeah. When I got home I called the friend and jokingly said ‘ha what if I went out with him?’ she got all serious and said I would never talk to you agian. Then I laughed and changed the subject, because I didn’t know what to tell her. I really like this guy, and I don’t think my friends being very fair. Should I tell her, let her find out, or call off the date?

Well it’s really up to you. Do you think your friend will get used to the idea of you two going out? Is this guy worth ruining your friendship?

well it kinda is an unwritten rule that if one of your friends really likes a guy then you shouldn’t go for him because she might take it offensivly and think your being disrespectful of her feelings. if you really like him & don’t really care if you aren’t friends with the girl anymore then go for him. maybe a simpler solution would be waiting until she likes another guy & then go for him. hopefully the guy is either willing to wait for you or willing to keep a relationship on the down low until she gets over him
