The Age of the West is over?

If we fall China, Russia and a lot of other countries will go down. This is due to these other conutries being so depended on us for their economy.

China has so many of their products being sold to us, they would be crazy to attack us, it would kill their economy. The majority of their companies are American based.

Other countries can’t afford to have the US fall. It would crumble the world enconomy. The world is learning that today we need each other to survive.

Militarily, the East (Russia + China) has been as strong enough to counter the west for a very long time already. Financially, the competitive advantage shifted to the East about 50 years ago. China’s GDP has been growing at greater than a 10% clip (average) since about 1950, and their GDP now runs arounf $2 trillion, compared to about $13 trillion for the US.

So, while China’s economy is growing more rapidly than ours, they still have a long way to go to catch up. The bigger threat to the US is the European Union, which outranks the US (slightly) in terms of both growth and GDP.
