want to apply for law school and Im a convicted felon

So I really want to apply for law school and Im a convicted felon and I cant tell you how many people have told me to give up…So you say that your in law school and as well have a felony how did you do this? Will you be able to apply for the BAR? Or how does that all work? Im so thankful that I found someone like me, if you could please explain a little I would really appreciate it

Answer #1

A felony will not keep you from practicing law or getting into law school as far as I know. It will more than likely keep you from getting government loans, but you can still pay your own way through.

Answer #2

That is something u will have to talk to the coolege about. but i do beleave u wont be able to depends on what the felony was for. as far as loans and grant it wont effect them at all done been there and i got all of mine and mine is a class d felony. But what u can take is effected by what class of felony it is. So make sure before u waste time getting credits that they will let u take the bars good luck
