im pretty sure every phone can send a txt, unless you have an extremely old one from the 1990s. other than that every other phone can send one, and no, nothings free, especially on a phone txts cost around 25 cents each, sometimes more though sometimes websites advertise free txting but be careful, because not all of them will, and the ones that dont will end up costing you a lot of money perhaps do more research on what other ohones can do, and the dangers of those advertisments for ringtones, ect on tv, because there subscription services, so as soon as you call that number, your subscribing to them, and its costs lots of money to receive there messeges and send them. also the daily or weekly charge they add on to that you could also get a second hand phone at a second hand store that sells electrical apliances, they sell okay ones for pretty cheap (usually around $100 or less) and most allow you to txt and also just talk to your parents, if you are 18 then they should allow you to get a phone, but considering your an adault theyll pronbably like it more if you buy it yourself, and use your own money for credit

Answer #3

No, you can’t get texting for free.

I’m guessing that by “it’s not on my phone” you mean that you don’t have texting turned on, not that your phone actually can’t send a message. Text messages for me cost 10 cents per message (sent or recieved) without a texting plan. Some can cost more. Talk to your parents. Maybe they’ll let you get texting if you pay for it. That way, they don’t have to pay more.

Well I mean on my phone sorry. Thanks everyone I’m going to try to talk with my parents. maybe they will let me if I pay every other month. Something like that.

Answer #5

tell them that it would help preserve your day time minutes, by allowing you to speak to your friends, without using up all the minutes.
