Answer #2

check http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Singing

Not very technical, but that should help you start. Find a voice teacher if you are really interested. It is difficult to actually hear your own voice, this is why you sound different on a recording and why even in studio muscians have their own head phones.

Answer #3

yes you do. When you breath, don’t breath with your upper chest because it strains your voice and can actually hurt your muscles in your throat. Breath with your diaphram. To check if you creathing with your diaphram, put your hands on your stomach and when you feel your stomach move when your breathing; your breathing correctly. Just make sure that your upper chest doesn’t move when you breath. Remember: DIAPHRAM!!!
