What does a temperature of 96.8 mean?
My thermometer reads that I have a temperature of 96.8 f and the normal is 98.6 f what does this mean???

It means nothing…”average temp” is 98.6…that average comes from a range of “normal”…and you are in that range.

I think youll be okay maybe watch your temp if you feel sick but dont let it get to your head
Well, if I remember rightly from my Science revision a couple of months ago a low temperature means an infection? But that’s usually only like 0.001 difference 2 lower is very drastic and probably very inaccurate. if your feeling ok, you will be fine.

Though the body temperature measured on an individual can vary, a healthy human body can maintain a fairly consistent body temperature that is around the mark of 37.0 degrees celsius.
I agree amblessed, it if you feel fine then it will mean you have a slightly lower body temp. than the average. don’t worry I do too, mine is always around 36 degrees C.
