Telephone numbers that start with 02.

I keep getting calls from someone who’s number starts with 02 at strange times. Mostly in school, classes etc. I was wondering what area’s of the world have phone numbers that start with 02, both mobile and homephones. :) thanks

02 is mainly a number for Australia, for instance, the number for someones home in Canberra would be 02 9612 2423. 02 is the international dialing code for Australia.

Well I am not sure where you are from but all United States telephone numbers start with a three digit area code and they cannot start with a 0. You can get weird numbers when people call from Skype, use a phone card, call internationally, use a phone bank (such as Military) or use some sort of computer generated calling. Think about who you would know that could be using any of those. I would start with either Military or International people. They may not realize what time it is so they may be trying to get you at all times during the day.
