How could this technique for cigar smoking be right?

So occasionally, my friends and I like to enjoy a cigar. But I don’t think we smoke them quite right. I can admit that I haven’t quite mastered the technique, but do we have to keep spitting? My friend whose the “expert” says that we do. Say a bunch of rich people are at a party, enjoying their cigars, are they spitting all over the place? I think not. Or is them not spitting a status symbol? Please, clear the confusion.

Answer #1

When you say spitting, you’re talking about chewing tobacco which can really harm your mouth and lungs, the smart thing to do would be to try and stop in your tracks before you hurt yourself further.

Tobacco chewing isn’t healthy whatsoever, especially for people you’re age, your pretty much saying screw life when in that area of life.

Stop while you can, it may be hard, but if you are brave enough, you will try and quit.

Answer #2

No I’m not talking about chewing tobacco. I’m talking about smoking a cigar. Every puff or so its (blow smoke out) and then (spitooee)

Answer #3

I think when spitting, it’s probably to get the bad taste that’s sitting on your tongue. Truly, I don’t know why spitting is involved with smoking a cigar. I don’t smoke, that’s why I barely know.

Answer #4

I grew up around cigar smokers, and never have I seen one of them spit…that’s disgusting.

Answer #5

thank you it doesn’t make sense to me either. I’ll ask the guys at the cigar shop in town…
