Tattoo advice

Do it as long as you dont think about him all the time if the relationship goes sour. Would suck to be reminded of my x all the time.

I think a simple ‘S’ is appropriate…since it’s the first letter of your name, you don’t need to spend eternity explaining whose initial you have on you if the relationship doesn’t work.

Believe me, I know…I have my ex husband’s name on me and I hear it all the time…

The S would probably be appropriate however, if you were to split you could tell others that it was for your first name…but deep down…it would always have the secret meaning and if you were to tell your boyfriend that it was for him he could spread it all over and then it wouldn’t have a secret meaning. There are other ways of expressing your love for someone than tattooing their name on you. My mother told me when I got my first tattoo to never tattoo anyone’s name, initials,etc on you unless it is yours or your kids.

Never get anything about your relationship tattooed on yourself unless it is to commemorate someone who you are close to who has passed away. Its called the relationship curse and most tattoo artists says that after you get a relationship tattoo it ends within 6 months. Don’t jinx it.

If you want a relationship tattoo try going to get something matching like a symbol or design you both like. Then if you break up its not like you have an ex lovers initials stamped into you for everyone to see.
