Does anyone have suggestions on this tattoo idea?

Hey, Im thinking about getting a tattoo in a couple of months and I have this pretty cool idea. Im thinking about getting Japanese style waves and maybe an octopus or squid coming out of it. The thing is, is that I want it to work from my chest to my shoulder/top of my arm. Im having problems visualizing a way to make this work out so it looks good. If anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate it. And if any good artist out there can draw their idea out that would be awesome too. Just funmail me and let me know. Thanks!

When you go to the tattoo parlor, they should be able to draw up a good idea for you.
It’s part of their job.

having waves is nice to look at first but as you get older they start looking like a big blue splash of paint and im a tattooist so that is my opinion but talk to whoever is going to do the tattoo and they should make sure it dosent end up looking like that

take an eyeliner pencil or a marker and draw it on yourself so you at least have a concept of what it would look like. & make sure that the tattoo is certified and all utensils used are either new or clean&sterilized so you dont get an infection
