Is there a way to cover up a tattoo?

Hey I want to get a tattoo on my lower abdomen and I have some pretty skimpy bakini bottoms that might show it. My parents are against tattoos strongly and I was wondering if there is any way to cover it up? What should I use?

a tat should have a very deep and personal meaning to be worth the permanence that comes with it. if it’s only to decorate or adorn, bear in mind, your tastes will surely change right along with whats in fashion or popular. it’s true, with time they lose definition and color fades. in my case it was due to a dream that repeated night after night where God instilled in me the urgency to place His name on my upper arm. it’s an affirmation of my faith and all that I live for. up until I had it done, I considered tattoo’s an anathema and definitely nothing a lady would want on her person. just really think long and hard. what if your future potential mate detests it? if you’re already trying to figure out how to cover it, you probably should be happy to not have that challenge. Blessings

ichibanarky is right, only clothing will cover a tattoo. also consider that a tattoo anywhere on your abdomen will stretch and become distorted if/when you get pregnant.

Answer #3

The only thing you can cover up tattoos with is clothing, and anyone who tells you different is misleading you.

Believe me, I got a tattoo at 12 years old and I tried everything under the sun to hide it.
