Well,in the song,”Tangerine Sky” by the Kottonmouth Kings,Theyre talking about the sky being the color orange/red,like a tangerine,when the sun sets. Perhaps thats whats your referring to?
The lyrics: Say goodbye to a tangerine sky, say hello say hello to tomorrow say goodbye.
Basically,theyre saying that night is coming,because the sun sets at night,into an orange tangerine color,which turns to night,which turns to the next day,so say goodbye to today.
