how do I know if I have tss?

:S im kindaa scared. the other day I put a tampon in before I went to bed then when I woke up I fogot about it! I didnt change it until about 2oclock in the after noon. but then suddenly I felt really dizzy and needed sugar but today I feel sick and have a really bad sore throat I think I might have TSS please help. oh and my mum dont know I am wearing tampons either :S

ok I need help I use tampons but I havent been bleeding just weiord brown stuff cummin out so I decided to use tampons I 4got I had it in and left it for 24 hours poss longer then took it out and put anouther one in and did the same again now I feel rele sick funny headed and my chest and heart feel funny I have been docs because of my chest pains and had blood tests but didnt mention about the tampons im gettin rele worried now

I use tampons for discharge only sometimes because I dont need them all the time and tss is very rare but always precaution symtoms are diharea vomiting high fever and others hope this helps :]

I went looking for my literature on TSS with signs/symptoms but seem to be unable to find it. Sorry about that. But you can either Google or use WebMd to find what you need.
Tampons shouldn’t be worn at night and should be removed asap when your period is finished. Never wear a tampon if you are not on your period. Never wear a tampon for more than 8 hrs. Change frequently. If you take care, you shouldn’t have to worry about TSS. Also, the leaflet inside the tampon box gives lots of information. Hope this helped!! {=
