Generate a common activity with him on a regular basis. In this manner, you will be able to see and talk to him regularly throughout the summer. Such a common activity could be a simple as meeting at the public library each week on the same day and time. Or perhaps take lessons together in some activity such as martial arts, dance classes… or whatever may be available in your area. You might both volunteer for the same place helping out in your community such as a food bank, or what ever. That way, you would get to see and talk to each other on a regular basis throughout the summer, and, you would both get a lot less slack from parents if you are volunteering your services to the community for part of your summer. Seeing each other in church, bible classes, or a youth group may also be another option. If you were really smart, you might just plan your week out with several such activities throughout the summer and be able to end up seeing each other almost every day if you did it correctly. ….. not to mention, you may just be able to talk to him on the internet (check out Skype.com), or give him a call on his house phone if he doesn’t have a cell phone.
